“Preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.” - ‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4‬:‭2‬

I am taking a short, two-week break from the blog. I have been blessed with an opportunity to preach soon, and my mind and heart have been focused in on that responsibility. This will be my first time back in the pulpit in nearly two months, and it has been an incredibly long and difficult journey back into it. I praise God for never leaving me nor forsaking me during this season of difficulty. I praise Him for His faithfulness and for the reward of enduring a trial as a Christian.

My friends, never let anyone try to stomp out the fire God has put in your heart to serve Him. Go on living for Him boldly, proclaiming the truth of His gospel message of salvation by His grace through faith in His Son. I am humbled to be preaching on May 31 at Hidalgo Independent Christian Church as I fill in for my father-in-law, pastor, mentor, and role model.

I ask you to join me in prayer, that my efforts to serve the Lord are fruitful for those who will hear the message. Most of all, I pray that God be honored in all that takes place. I believe firmly in prayer and thank you for your support. I look forward to getting back to the blog soon.
